The Taller the Better!

How many people out there love horses? Well, I am sure that there are many of you out there. I have been an avid horse lover/rider for years. I have ridden small horses and big horses. In my opinion, the bigger the horse, the better. I love the Quarter Horses and little Arabians but there is something about a tall Thoroughbred or a huge Warmblood that makes me super happy. In fact, if you look at the bottom of the page, you will see a picture of my friend's horse, Stormy, a Percheron/Standardbred cross.
Anyway, we have all heard of the Budweiser Clydesdales. No, I do not condone the drinking of alcohol in any way, shape or form but these horses are awesome! For the time being, one of their many teams is way-laid at my college. It is awesome to be so close to these magnificent animals! I have been around big draft horses before, but it never ceases to amaze me how big they are or how powerful!
They are hanging out in the one of the barns. These horses are so tall that they can put their heads over the stall door! But they are gentle enough for the smallest child to touch them. :)
